第十八届全国室性心律失常专题会议（The 18th VAS-CHINA）将于2026年7月31日-8月2日在南京举办，我们谨代表大会组委会，热烈欢迎并衷心感谢来自国内外的各位专家、同道及朋友们积极参加本届专题会议。The 18th VAS-CHINA是由江苏省老年医学会、南京医科大学第一附属医院和海南博鳌心脏研究发展中心共同主办，中华医学会心电生理和起搏分会(CSPE)、中国医师协会心律学专业委员会(CSA)和亚太心律学会(APHRS)学术支持的学术盛会。
室性心律失常是临床上最常见的心律失常。快速性室性心动过速、心室扑动和颤动是心脏性猝死的主要原因。心脏性猝死是当前社会公共健康问题，我国2009年的流行病学调查结果显示，心脏性猝死发生率54.4万人/年。近年来随着人口老龄化、高血压和糖尿病等关联的冠心病等结构性心脏病的发病率逐年增加，室性心律失常的发生率与死亡率也在不断攀升。因此，大力开展室性心律失常基础与临床研究，有效预防与治疗室性心律失常具有重要的实际意义。
自2008年的第一届全国室性心律失常专题会议以来，至今已经举办过十七届。本届会议正值我院90周年院庆。为此本届大会的具体时间为七天：从周一至周四为线上电生理和装置治疗手术演示时间，周五至周日上午为大会学术交流时间。本次大会邀请了众多的国内外知名专家，其中包括美国HRS的主席、欧洲EURE协会主席、以及亚太心律学会主席等，他们就室性心律失常的最新基础与临床研究进展同参会代表进行广泛交流。我们坚信，第十八届室性心律失常专题会议的召开将有助于参会代表们更多地了解当前室性心律失常的最新研究进展，这将有助于促进我国室性心律失常的基础和临床研究事业的发展。

The 18th ventricular arrhythmia symposium (The 18th VAS-CHINA) will be held in Nanjing Jiangsu from July 31-August 02, 2026. On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome and thank all experts, colleagues, and friends from both domestic and foreign countries for actively participating in this symposium. The 18th VAS-CHINA is an academic event co-sponsored by Jiangsu Province Geriatrics Society, the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and Hainan Boao Heart Research Center, and endorsed by the Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (CSPE), the Chinese Society of Arrhythmias (CSA), and the Asia Pacific Rhythm Society (APHRS).
Ventricular arrhythmia is the most common arrhythmia in clinical practice. Ventricular tachycardia, ventricular flutter and fibrillation are malignant arrhythmias, which are the main causes of sudden cardiac death (SCD). SCD is a public health problem. The epidemiological survey results before 2009 in China showed that the incidence of SCD was 544000 people/year. In recent years, with the aging of the population, hypertension, diabetes and other related coronary heart disease, structural heart disease incidence rate increases year by year, the incidence and mortality of ventricular arrhythmia are rising. Therefore, vigorously conducting basic and clinical research on ventricular arrhythmias, effectively preventing, and treating ventricular arrhythmias, has important clinical significance.
Since the first ventricular arrhythmias symposium was held in 2008, seventeen sessions have been held so far. This meeting coincides with the 90th anniversary of our hospital. Therefore, the conference will last seven days: from Monday to Thursday will be dedicated to online electrophysiology and device therapy surgical demonstrations, while Friday to Sunday morning will be reserved for academic exchanges during the conference. This symposium has invited numerous well-known experts from both domestic and foreign countries, they include the chairman of the American HRS, the chairman of the European EURE Association, and the chairman of the Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society, who will have extensive communication with meeting attendees on the latest basic and clinical research progress of ventricular arrhythmias. We firmly believe that the convening of the 18th VAS-CHINA will help all attendees to better understand the latest research progress in ventricular arrhythmias, Helping to promote the development of basic and clinical research on ventricular arrhythmias in China.
